  My wife and I visited on a Wednesday with the plan to use a gift card we had been given. When we visited, there were only a few other diners there and some people picking up take-out. We were seated quickly and the service was prompt.
  
  Since we had never been, we ordered the Sweetheart combo so we could try all the BBQ. I do a lot of smoking at home so I wanted to try it out. We got ribs, chicken, brisket, and pulled pork for our main meal, and French fries, chili and mac and cheese along with corn bread for our sides.
  
  Honestly, none of the meat was worth eating. The sauces were not tasty, and meat should be good enough without sauces anyways. They weren't running the smoker when we were there, and yes, it could have been smoked earlier in the day, but it wasn't a good sign. The sides were good however. We ate all of them. I had a beer as well, but wished there was something better on tap and not the bottle I had to resign myself to.
  
  Finally, the waitress initially wouldn't take our gift card. We had to get the owner to intervene. I am not interested in ever trying it again, unless it was free. Dinosaur's BBQ is far better, and everything I smoke was better than theirs.

  I've updated my review due to the owner's comments. They said they don't run a gift card program (they had in the past, and that was why they wouldn't take it initially). My review was for their old location, but on Google Maps this restaurant did not open a new location but instead moved their address to their new location, so this review is tied to both locations now). We are talking about the same place. Food hasn't changed, I'm just late to review the place.
